'Misfits' is an English movie that plays around a theme defining the term 'misfit'. "It portrays a story right out of anyone's own life. It's about the right people being in the wrong place or the wrong people being in the right place, look at it as you'd like" Nishant says. "I am sure, however that it is a movie that we'll all be able to relate to," he adds.
The story primarily focuses on experiences from a student's point of view. It is about everything and also about nothing in particular. The film has been made on a tight budget, like many other amateur movies, but they have used all the basic equipment required for an amateur film.
The film was wrapped up only by September last year however, as scheduling shoots was the greatest obstacle. "Getting 15-18 characters to co-ordinate, was a herculean task, but it's over now and I'm happy with what we've produced," Nishant says with a smile that speaks silently of all the hard work that's gone into it.
Be a part of his dream. Watch the movie.
