After the success of playing cricket in the Alps two years ago, Beyond Boundaries managing director, Jaideep Sinh Parmar was looking for his next destination to organise World Cricket Legends.

MAK Pataudi

That is when former India skipper MAK Pataudi pitched the idea of playing in the wild. "Tiger (Pataudi) was always fond of wild life. He was very keen to organise a match in the forest. I'm sure he would have loved being here. He is being missed by everyone here," late Pataudi's wife Sharmila Tagore told MiD DAY yesterday.

"I wasn't keen on coming. I am feeling better after coming here though. Tiger was a conservationist and he would have just loved being part of this event," the Bollywood actress added. The cricketers will be wearing a black arm band in memory of Pataudi, who succumbed to a lung infection on September 23.

Sachin can handle pressure: Kapil Dev
Legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev believes Sachin Tendulkar can deal with the pressure surrounding the anticipation of his 100th international ton.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's recently appealed to not put too much pressure on Tendulkar for his 100th international ton.

"When was Tendulkar not under pressure? Since he was 16 we have been putting pressure on him, comparing him with Sir Don Bradman.

"He has always been under pressure. I think he can only play under pressure. He likes to take pressure," Kapil said.

Action please!
The large group of former cricketers present here was eager to catch some action from the India vs West Indies Test at the Eden Gardens yesterday.

But they were denied updates as there are no televisions and very poor mobile phone connectivity out here.
"And the best people they thought of approaching were the mediapersons. But, like them, even they were clueless. However, some journalist made a few smses for latest scores to the cricketers' delight.
