That is when former India skipper MAK Pataudi pitched the idea of playing in the wild. "Tiger (Pataudi) was always fond of wild life. He was very keen to organise a match in the forest. I'm sure he would have loved being here. He is being missed by everyone here," late Pataudi's wife Sharmila Tagore told MiD DAY yesterday.
"I wasn't keen on coming. I am feeling better after coming here though. Tiger was a conservationist and he would have just loved being part of this event," the Bollywood actress added. The cricketers will be wearing a black arm band in memory of Pataudi, who succumbed to a lung infection on September 23.
