“The three IAC activists were arrested under Section 37 (1) (3) of CrPC and Sections 135 and 188 of the IPC for violating prohibitory orders of assembling illegally at a public place, and holding a rally without prior permission,” Senior Police Inspector of Deccan Gymkhana Police Station Manohar Joshi said.

On asked about the delay in taking action against the trio, Joshi said Bharadia was in Germany and they were unaware of the addresses of the other two IAC members.u00a0
