Players often face a torrid time getting their kit bags to the dressing room while climbing the steps.

Yesterday, teams of the ICC and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) visited the Wankhede Stadium to inspect the venue which will host three league games and a semi-final of the World T20.

"They (ICC and BCCI) have pointed out certain things. We were anyway planning to change the seat covers in the dressing room, as they are quite old. We will make sure whatever they have suggested will be in place before the World T20 kicks off. The recce team was very happy with the facilities," MCA’s Joint Honorary Secretary Dr Unmesh Khanvilkar told mid-day.

Meanwhile, the MCA, which was planning to extend the seating in the president’s box, have dropped the plan for the moment, fearing the work may not be completed on time for the World T20 event.
