Indian Cultural League (ICL) were in great scoring touch as they handed Ryan International a resounding 6-0 defeat in a Super Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) league, played at the St Xavier's ground, Parel yesterday.
Leading the ICL charge, were strikers Chandra Kunder and Rohit Sathe, both scoring two goals each. Their efforts were well supported by Tabish Sayyed, David D’Souza and Sagar L, all chipping in with one goal apiece to complete the rout.
Earlier in a First Division encounter, Springfield SC prevailed over Holy Cross United by a 3-1 margin. Vernon Saldanha struck a brace, while Vivek Pandey got the third for the winners. Amstel Rodrigues scored the lone goal for the losers.
