ICTACT conference on wireless and broadband technologies

Chennai: Latest developments in wireless and broadband technologies were discussed during a two-day international conference organised here in association with the ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu and co-sponsored by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Experts from industry and academia delivered talks on various topics related to the sector during the "International Conference Broadband & Wireless Technologies (ICBWT¿16)¿ organised by the Department of ECE of Sri Sairam Engineering College here.

Research and PG scholars from various engineering colleges and industry persons presented papers on a wide range of applications in broadband and wireless technologies during the conference, which concluded today, a release said.

The aim of the conference was to provide an excellent forum for sharing knowledge and present the innovative ideas, and technologies as well as developments and future demands related to broadband technologies, computing technologies, human-computer interaction and wireless communication, it
said.

ICT Academy, a not-for-profit society, is an initiative of the central government in collaboration with state governments and industries to train the higher education teachers and students.
