I'll come back harder tomorrow: Varun Aaron

India's latest speed sensation Varun Aaron got a tad nostalgic yesterday as he made his Test debut at the Wankhede Stadium. He revealed at theu00a0 post-match conference that he had made his India U-19 debut at the same ground not too long ago too.

"Wankhede is like a debut ground for me and I am always eager to do well here. And since I had good debuts in ODIs and U-19s, I am sure the Test debut will also be a good one. I hope to come back hard tomorrow," Aaron said after Day One of the third Test against the West Indies here yesterday.

Aaron, who was presented his Test cap by VVS Laxman, was quick to analyse his mistakes on Day One.
"The first spell is always a difficult one. I think my first two spells were okay, but I could have bowled better in the third spell. Tomorrow is a new day and I will come back and try to do better," he said.

Though the wicket didn't help the seamers as much as it was expected to, Aaron termed it a good one. "There was a bit of dampness in the wicket for the first 45 minutes and within that time there were a few close calls.

Had we got two-three wickets during that time, we would have been in much better shape, but the wicket cannot be criticised," he said, adding that he doesn't expect the wicket to help seamers further either.

"It's not going to change much. If it hasn't helped on the first day itself, it won't help in the next four days too," said Aaron.

Going into the match withu00a0 India's fastest bowler tag was not pressurising, said Aaron. "It's no pressure to be recognised as a fast bowler. I take it as a compliment. No matter what happens, I am not going to cut down my pace even a little," vowed Aaron.
