How: Valsan, who has dabbled with street photography in heritage areas of Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad, shares that, “The ‘bazaar culture’ and heritage areas in general are under threat, and most of us don’t know what we are losing, since we are unaware of these disappearing communities and cultures.”  With communities that mark the road as their centuries-old abode, he hopes that photography enthusiasts will notice, “East Indians, Muslims, Jains, Maharashtrians and other communities, who live together in beautiful, old cottages in by lanes, while maintaining their quaint and distinct cultures.”
