A unique travel magazine was launched today. It's the first in-house magazine for buses.

The Travel Karnataka magazine was launched jointly today by R Ashok, transport minister and MP Ananth Kumar. The magazine gives all the guides and pointers for travelers who want to explore Karnataka. It is also available online.

Ananth Kumar said: "No state has done something like this; constantly we are working on building our brand name. India's IT capital is always ahead in terms of technology and new ideas. The next time you want to explore Karnataka, you will know where to look for,"

"Bangalore has been a little behind in completing projects on time, but now none of that will happen. We are planning a lot of things that will add punch to the brand Bangalore. As of now one thing that's on my mind is to replace all the cars that run on fuel to battery-operated cars," said R Ashok.

The minister also said that eco-friendly cars are mooted for ministers in order to avoid environmental pollution.
