London: The Indian team that is still reeling after their innings and 54-run defeat against England in the fourth Test at Old Trafford reached London ahead of the fifth and final Test yesterday.
And just like the previous two days, they chose to rest with only two days to go for the game. They undertook sessions in the hotel gymnasium and followed it up with a trip to a range where they undertook some shooting practice.
Meanwhile, the track at the Oval is likely to be on the slower side and the ball will keep low. India are waiting on paceman Ishant Sharma's fitness, and his availability for the game depends on whether he can bowl in the nets today and tomorrow.
England, on the other hand, will have the services of fast bowler Stuart Broad who will play with a mask in order to protect his nose which was injured in the previous game.
