India stretched mighty Australia before losing 3-4 in their second match of the nine-a-side Lanco International Super Series hockey event here yesterday.

India go down 3-4 to Australia in Lanco 9s

Sardar Singh, Danish Mustaba and Gurwinder Singh Chandi scored for India while Craig Boyne, Jacob Whetton and Trent Mitton struck for Australia. Boyne scored a brace.


India lost 1-2 to England on Thursday and take on arch-rivals Pakistan today.
