During the first three Tests of the ongoing India-England series, a season ticket entailed a single pass, which was stamped on entry each day. For a season ticket of the fourth Test at Mumbai, a fan gets a booklet containing five passes, i.e, one for each day.
Thus, a fan only needs to bring the pass for the day rather than a ticket that requires a stamp everyday. "It is much easier for you rather than carrying the same ticket for five days," said one of the ticketing officials at the counter. "Having five passes for a ticket is convenient.
"If I cannot make it on one day, someone I know can take the pass for the next day. That’s not easy if there is only one pass for the whole Test match," a fan said as he stood in line.

Meanwhile, the visiting England fans have found ticket prices very reasonable. "Back in England, prices can go up to £60 per day. In comparison, one can get a good ticket here for around Rs 1000 that too for all the five days," said one England fan.
