An Indian doctor in Abu Dhabi has reportedly been found dead lying in a pool of blood.

Dr Rajan Daniel, a urologist at Ahalia Hospital, was found dead in his room on Thursday.
A hospital spokesman said it is believed that Dr Daniel, who was on duty at the time, was murdered as hospital staff heard loud cries emanating from his room.
“A South Asian man in his forties was seen running away from the doctor’s room. He was caught by hospital staff and handed over to the police who arrived at the scene [shortly afterwards],” a news report said.
The doctor was, however, already dead, having likely succumbed to his injuries seen around his neck, the spokesman said.
