Glasgow: It was curtains for India at the Scottish Open after men’s singles player Anand Pawar and men’s doubles pair of Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy bowed out of the 50,000 Grand Prix badminton tournament, here.

Pawar, seeded 11th, notched up a 21-13, 21-13 win over Germany’s Dieter Domke but he failed to get across top seed Hans-Kristian Vittinghus of Denmark, suffering a 21-12, 10-21, 13-21 loss to the Dane in the quarter-finals.
