Indore: A block coordinator posted in Alirajpur district was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000 from an NGO official on Tuesday, Lokayukta police said.

"The block coordinator Satish Solanki was caught after a complaint was filed by NGO official Rem Singh Dondve,"
Lokayukta Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) D S Gurjar told PTI.

The NGO had been registered for the publicity of government's health and education programmes. For that purpose
it was getting Rs 50,000 annually and Solanki had demanded money from Dondve for releasing this payment.

Acting on a tip-off, the police laid a trap and caught Solanki red-handed. A case under Prevention of Corruption Act was
registered against Solanki in this regard and further investigation was on.
