A 15-day old infant was found abandoned in the ladies compartment at Vashi railway station on Friday afternoon.
A 15-day old infant was found abandoned in the ladies compartment at Vashi railway station on Friday afternoon.
The baby boy was discovered at around 3.35 pm when some ladies boarded the train and heard the child crying. They subsequently informed the Railway Police. GRP officials claimed that the boy had been placed in between two seats in the compartment.

The baby has been sent to NMMC hospital for medical test.
