The promo of Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan was released on Wednesday night at a hotel in Juhu to select media.
The three-minute promo was greeted with a thunderous applause by all present. All the three times it was played.
A Q&A session followed with KJo, and his lead pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, where the trio regaled all present with their witty one-liners.
SRK was asked why the title was My Name Is Khan when 'Khan' is a surname not a 'name.'u00a0 He reply was greeted by thunderous applause. He asked, "Have you heard of 'my name is Bond. James Bond?"

The first message that KJo received as soon as My Name Is Khan's promos went on air was from Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. They SMSed the director to say that they were spellbound and this would be his best film ever.

Though Shah Rukh attended the red carpet premiere of Avatar he did not see James Cameron's latest film. His children Aryan and Suhana were very keen to attend but could not as they had exams the next morning.
And as premieres are late-night affairs, mom Gauri didn't allow them to go. So the doting dad SRK, too, skipped the screening and will watch it with his kids at a special screening today.
