Artist Mrityunjay Mondal's ongoing exhibition shows how man is encroaching upon nature for his own gain.
When CS asked him about his inspiration, he said, “When I had gone to my village near Kolkata I was surprised to see so many buildings that had come up in the recent years.
I felt that humans were slowly eating into the space of other living beings, the trees that we were cutting were not being replaced and the natural habitat of animals and other beings was slowly decreasing. Since the other living beings can’t communicate, I am trying do my bit from this exhibition, to say what they would like to convey to us.”u00a0
