Man finds his phone - without a scratch - in a rural pasture a day after it fell out of a plane during a flight from Houston
Wichita Falls: A Texas businessman used an app to find his iPhone in a rural pasture after it fell from 9,300 feet during a flight from Houston.
Interestingly, the cellphone still works. Wilson says he and a pilot were travelling home on Monday in a Beechcraft Bonanza when a pressure change caused the passenger door to open slightly. Wilson didn't realise his cellphone fell out until they landed.
Wilson, who owns Gas Corporation of America in Wichita Falls, along with an employee, used an app to narrow the search to near Jacksboro.
The pair set on their search on Tuesday, and ended up in a rural pasture where they found the gadget under a mesquite tree.
