New Delhi: Much of the focus in the 10th edition is on young talent. Delhi Daredevils are lucky to have two of them, Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson. The latter has been around for some time, but is now coming into his own. Pant made his IPL debut last year, but blossomed during the recent domestic season and that form he is carrying into the T20 event.

The two have made impressive starts, with Samson notching up his maiden IPL century against Pune while Pant got a half-century in the first match despite losing his father just two days before. Much of Delhi Daredevils' hopes will rest on how the two fare during the matches ahead. Daredevils have started the season with two away matches, losing one and winning the other.

Their next two games are at home. On Saturday, they will be up against Northern rivals Kings XI Punjab and then against Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday.

Their think-tank, headed by the astute Rahul Dravid, would be happy with the start the team has made and the way the two youngsters are shaping up. It has been Dravid's endeavour to thrust the youngsters into the thick of action. Thus Samson and Pant bat higher in the order ahead of Karun Nair, Corey Anderson and Chris Morris.

Next up for them are Kings XI Punjab who won two games. However, they received a setback in Kolkata against KKR and would very much like to return to winning ways.
