New Delhi: England's Alex Hales will replace injured Correy Anderson in the Mumbai Indians squad for the remainder of the ongoing Indian Premier League tournament.
Hales will be available for selection for Mumbai Indians' last league game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 17, subject to the completion of contractual paperwork formalities, a statement from the tournament orgainsers said today.
The 26-year-old Hales has represented England in 33 T20 Internationals, with an average of 37.92 and a strike rate of 138.46.
Anderson was ruled out of the T20 tournament with a minor fracture in one of his fingers.
