Earlier in the day, Khan had tweeted about his arrival. "Practising our dance moves lil AbRam and me as we prep for our first match in Kolkata. Ami Kolkata here we come... see you all at the Garden," SRK posted on Twitter.

Sourav and Sha Rukh have had a tempestuous relationship.

The Bollywood superstar and KKR co-owner had once said that he had has no regrets about dethroning Ganguly as captain of the IPL franchise.

Ganguly on his part had described Shah Rukh as an excitable person. Talking about the five-year ban KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan by the MCA over his alleged scuffle with a MCA official, Ganguly had said, "My advice to Shah Rukh is to lie low for a few months. SRK tends to get excited and hyper which causes emotional outbursts. This gives him wrong headlines."

But it seems all that is in the past and the two have reconciled as Sourav seemed to be playing the gracious host to SRK.

The duo were seen cheering for the host team and had reason to be happy as Kolkata won the game by seven runs.
