Buzz has it that Bollywood actress Sridevi is apparently miffed with director Karan Johar for delaying her daughter Jhanvi Kapoor's film debut. Jhanvi was slated to work in the Hindi remake of Marathi hit 'Sairat'.

A report in DNA, however, states that the fact that the film is being continuously delayed hasn't gone down too well with Sridevi. The publication quoted a source as saying that Sridevi feels that the film should have been announced by now. Karan Johar has announced 'Brahmastra' with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan, and 'Kesari' with Akshay Kumar.
