French actress Isabelle Adjani is on her maiden visit to the country for the shooting of an upcoming Bollywood project

She was spotted in the city at a soiree hosted by the French consulate in order to honour her. Isabelle appeared in a traditional Indian wear at the event. But what was more intriguing was the trademark Parisian black hat on her head.
The twice Oscar-nominated actress considers it to be her lucky charm. An eyewitness said, “Isabelle Adjani is known for her trademark Parisian hats.” It was apparently Isabelle’s idea to don an ethnic ensemble. The 56-year-old style icon arrived in a creation by Tarun Tahiliani and a close friend who accompanied her to the party sported a sari.
