New Delhi: Delhi Dynamos announced Serginho Greene's signing at the Bravida Arena while the team was playing their friendly against BK Hacken, a top tier European team.
Greene is versatile player and can play almost in any defensive role which makes him a key player for the team. Not only does he have a drive for winning games, he is also quick on his feet and has excellent decision making characteristics.
"Serginho is a great addition to team. Roberto was convinced that he was the right man to fill the missing position. He also made a great presentation in Braveda arena where he played like a lion," said the club's president Prashant Agarwal.
The Dutchman started his youth career at Ajax and flourished there to make a mark there. Later on, he moved to big ticket clubs like Feyenoord, Vitesse and Haarlem. Greene was also a member of the Netherlands U-16 and U-21 football teams.
"He is a young player who is willing to learn and grow as a player. His speed will help us a lot as a team and I am very happy about his signing," said the team's manager Roberto Carlos.
