"Of course, there is so much that I have to give these players from my World Cup and Euro Championship experiences.

When you are at the World Cup, it's like you are in the middle of a war. The insight that you gain while you are there is very valuable.

Hence, I will be able to help them tackle small problems that young players face," said the 32-year-old Greek who played for his country at the 2010 World Cup and the Euro Championships a couple of years later.

Explaining the importance of having New Zealand's Ricki Herbert as the coach he said, "He was a part of the 2010 World Cup, and that is something which is very valuable to us. The coach is the number one person in any team. For a team, everything starts and stops with him."

Despite having played in the Greek and Italian leagues, Tzorvas said it won't be tough to adjust to Indian conditions.

"For me football has only one target — the ball. There is one idea, that is to keep the opposition's score 0. Wherever I play or whichever country I play in, I know what I want from myself and the game."
