It's baby Giulia: Bruni
France's First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy yesterday revealed she and husband, French President Nicolas have named their daughter Giulia.
She announced the news on her official website as she thanked well-wishers for their support following the birth.
She wrote, "I am deeply touched by the many messages of congratulations that I have received since the birth of our daughter.
On this occasion, my husband joins me in expressing our warmest thanks to all those of you who sent us these tokens of your kindness."
The announcement comes after Sarkozy spoke of his 'deep joy' following the baby's birth.
Meanwhile, Sarkozy's father Pal Sarkozy, said the family was 'thrilled' and that Bruni was tired but 'doing very well'. "We are thrilled to have a 14th grandchild, who is a little girl.
Everybody is doing well. Carla is doing well. She is a bit tired but that's completely normal," said Pal Sarkozy.
