Second seed Ana Ivanovic was dumped out of the WTA PTT Pattaya Women's Open at the quarter-final stage today by fifth seed Roberta Vinci.



Vinci, the World No 38, stunned her Serbian opponent 7-5 6-3 to clinch a semi-final date with fellow Italian Sara Errani. Eighth seed Errani worked for her place in the last four, battling from a set down to overcome Kazakhstani Galina Voskoboeva 2-6 6-3 6-2. The second semi-final will be between Vera Zvonareva Daniela Hantuchova.
