I’m 19 and studying mass communication. My cousin from the USA recently gifted me a smartphone. I used to have an old cellphone, but this new one is simply out of the world. I just can’t do without it. I’m always thinking about it. I don’t even let anybody else touch it. My friends think I’ve changed since I’ve got the phone.
You are joining the legions of Generation Y’s gizmo addicts who just can’t do without their smartphones. Your day may begin and end with it, and it is like a whole new world for you. Your smartphone enables you to stay connected with the world at the click of a button. At the same time, you are cutting yourself from the real world and might end up with poor social skills. Next time you are with your pals, keep you cell on silent mode. If you are stuck to it all day, you will naturally rub people the wrong way. Stay connected with it, but not disconnected with the people around you.
Diana will solve it!
