The Special MCOCA court at Arthur Road on Monday framed charges against 10 accused in connection with the murder case of senior mid-day journalist J Dey. The special MCOCA court Judge AL Pansare framed the charges against the accused.
Speaking to mid-day, special public prosecutor Raja Thakre confirmed the framing of charges against the 10 accused at the MCOCA court.
The framing of charges has taken place almost four years after the murder of Dey, who was shot dead at Powai, on June 11, 2011, by six assailants, allegedly at the behest of gangster Chhota Rajan.
According to the police, Rajan was upset with the journalist as he had written two articles portraying him negatively.
