Last year, the JAC Board Results were declared in the month of May; the Jharkhand 12th Arts Results were declared on 21st May followed by the JAC Matric Results and JAC Inter Commerce and Science Results being declared on 27th May. Altogether, a total of 8.8 Lakh students appeared for the exams, of which close to 4.5 Lakh students appeared for JAC Board 10th Exam and 4.2 Lakh candidates appearing for the JAC Intermediate Exam.
Talking about the competitive nature of the test, JAC Class 10 results saw a marginal dip in the pass percentage; down from 75.30% in 2014 to 71.20% in 2015. The JAC Inter Results of last year were declared in two phases, with science and commerce results coming out first, followed by arts. The Jharkhand Intermediate Result registered a pass percentage of 63.65% compared to 63.88% of 2014; whereas the JAC 12th Commerce Result saw a minor dip from 75.83% in 2014 to 73.99% in 2015.
