England striker wife Rebekah has expressed her anger at a newspaper report, which criticised her for having a 'fake tan fail'. Yesterday, she tweeted: "Little shocked that a national newspaper website has mocked me for the colour of my skin with a 'fake tan fail' headline. FYI, I'm half Portuguese & recently back from Dubai. I got a dark tan quickly in the sun. I'm NOT wearing any fake tan & actually offended by it."

Rebekah, who is one of the participants of the British reality TV show 'I'm A Celebrity', continued in another tweet: "I mean if they wanted to just mock me, then mock me for wearing a onesie and a bobble hat at my age, but not my skin colour."

Many online users came to the support of the football WAG. One wrote: "Why are we still being mean about women for no reason? Nasty." Another added, "It's like when they took the piss out of Ross Barkley and then pretended they didn't know he's mixed race. It's well documented that's you're half-Portuguese, they're a bunch of d***s." A third well-wisher wrote: "I'm sure you've got more important things to worry about ffs."
