Actor Jason Statham, who is known for his action thriller roles was born 26 July 1967 in Derbyshire, England. He is know for the Transporter series in which he starred as Frank Martin. He is also know for hiest and action movies like The Italian Job (2003), Crank (2006), War (2007), The Bank Job (2008), The Mechanic (2011) and Mechanic: Resurrection (2016), among others. He was also part of s The Expendables franchise and Fast and Furious franchise. 1. Jason Statham was born in Shirebrook, Derbyshire. Statham made his debut with British director Guy Ritchie's 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' (1998).

2. He is well trained in mixed martial arts and is an expert in kickboxing. Statham has regularly performed his own stage combat and stunts.

3. The actor was in a relationship with English model and actress Kelly Brook for several years. He is now in a steady relationship with model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Jason and Rosie got engaged in January 10, 2016. Rosie and Jason, began dating in 2010 and confirmed they got engaged in January 2016. They welcomed child together in 2017, named him Jack Oscar Statham.
4. He has spent 12 years on the British national diving team, competing on the 10-meter platform and the 3-meter springboard. In 1992, he was ranked 12th in the world as a platform diver.
5. Jason was offered the lead role in Bronson (2008), but was unavailable. He also had to turn down a role in RocknRolla (2008) due to his commitment to Death Race (2008).
