While Big B’s game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is on track, Jaya Bachchan’s debut television venture is now delayed
The buzz has it that Jaya Bachchan is all set to return to acting with her maiden television appearance. It is being said that the show will be an adaptation of Gujarati author Kajal Oza Vaidya’s book, 'Yog Viyog'. However, it has now emerged that the show has been delayed. Says a source, “The show was supposed to go on air in September, but due to production issues, it has now been pushed to December.”

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan’s show, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', will go on air in September. “Recently, Amitabh Bachchan shot for the show’s promo. Post KBC, Big B’s fictional show, which is being directed by Anurag Kashyap, will go on air and December will see Jayaji’s show hit the small screen,” says the source.
The show has Jaya Bachchan dwelling on her flashback story. While Jaya is prepping for the mother's role, the show’s producers are still looking for someone who can play a younger Jaya during the early part of the show.
The channel’s spokesperson refused to comment on the story.
