Jiah Khan flew into London in the wee hours of Saturday to be with family on her birthday. She brought in her 22nd birthday on Friday night in Mumbai with a few friends. "I had an early morning flight, we had to wind up by midnight," says the Nishabd actress.
As the shoot of her film Housefull had just wrapped, the timing was perfect. "I was particularly looking forward to being with my folks. In fact, I was keener on enjoying the cool climes. My sisters and I normally get together and have a blast. This year, by the time I landed more than half the day was over. So we just celebrated at home."
February 20 has always been a big affair in her household. "I start planning my birthday, weeks in advance. In my younger days, I have had lavish birthdays and would be dressed up in Disney characters. I would insist that my birthday cake would be lavish toou00a0-- I would order a multi-tiered cake for my birthday!"
Jiah will be spending a couple of weeks with her folks before she takes off to Jamaica on a special assignment in aid of the Haiti quake victims. "I will be back in Mumbai in April in time for the release of Housefull. I have enjoyed myself shooting for this film. In fact, I never had such a blast shooting for my earlier projects," informs Jiah, who last featured in Ghajini.
