Jet Airways will operate an special Boeing 737-700 flight between Delhi-Leh-Delhi on September 13, for evacuating stranded passengers at Leh.

The flight 9W 1368 will depart Delhi at 0930 hrs and arrive Leh at 1100 hrs. The return flight 9W 1369 will depart from Leh at 1135 hrs and arrive Delhi at 1300 hrs.

This flight is in addition to the scheduled daily departures for Leh. Over the past two days, Jet Airways has helped bring back several stranded passengers from flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir.

The airline is in constant dialogue with the authorities and the paramilitary and armed forces personnel to co-ordinate the safe passage of people from flood-affected areas to safety.

The additional flights fulfill the dual purpose of carrying relief materials for the survivors and facilitating the evacuation of passengers still stranded in Leh in large numbers following this unfortunate incident.
