Los Angeles: JK Rowling had sent her online fans speculating by posting a riddle but many would be disappointed to know that the boy wizard is not returning. Rowling posted the answer today, revealing that it was a tease about 'Potter' spinoff 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them', which takes place about 70 years before the events of the Potter series, said the Hollywood Reporter.

The story will release as a trilogy.
Rowling tweeted a cryptic message Monday about a new project she is currently working on. The message read: "Cry, foe! Run amok! Fa awry! My wand won't tolerate this nonsense."
Fans were quick to interpret this as a sign that Potter, who was last seen on the big screen in 2011, was finally making a return.
The author revealed that the solution to the anagram, which a follower tweeted at Rowling about 24 hours after the author posted the clue, is: "Newt Scamander only meant to stay in New York for a few hours ... "
Newt is the main character of 'Fantastic Beasts'.
