The questioning started in the wee hours yesterday and lasted for around five hours, before it resumed at around 10.30 am. In the first round of questioning, Kumar was confronted with Khalid and Anirban separately.

In the second round, the three were grilled together. The interrogation is being conducted by at least two teams, said a source. He claimed that Kanhaiya has so far dissociated himself with the event, while Khalid has denied having indulged in any anti-national sloganeering.

Anirban challenged claims that the slogans pointed out by the police were anti-national in nature, the source claimed.

Kanhaiya didn’t raise any slogan: Guard
A security guard at JNU campus and a policeman have been purportedly seen in a sting video saying that JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar did not raise any slogan. The security guard who identifies himself as Amarjeet Kumar could be seen claiming that he was present at the event. The other person identified as Delhi Police head constable Rambir could be seen saying that he was present at the event in plain clothes.
