Spieth carded 28 birdies, two eagles and just two bogeys in reaching 30 under par during his eight-shot success at the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
The 22-year-old Texan said it was hard for him to believe he could be compared to Woods the entire course of a career as the contribution of the winner of 79 career PGA Tour events was special, the Guardian reported.
He said that he understands that comparisons are going to be there, but he just finds it hard to believe that it can be matched.
He added that he just doesn't feel he deserves to be compared to Woods right now.
