Jwala Gutta and V Diju crashed out of the quarter-finals of Singapore Open Super Series after losing to Chinese Taipei pair of Cheng and Chen here yesterday.
u00a0This was their last tournament before the London Olympics. The sixth seeded Indian pair went down in 45 minutes at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The Indian pair were off to a rollicking start as they dominated the first game and went up 4-0. But the opponents made a strong comeback to make it 6-6. With one games each, the match went into the decider, which was keenly contested.
From 5-5, the Indians fought hard to make it 12-12, but thereafter consecutive four points sealed the match in favour of the Taipei duo.
