Popular television-film actor Indraneil Sengupta is returning to fiction with 'Tumhari Paakhi'. Indraneil, who played a negative role in Vidya Balan starrer 'Kahaani', was busy with his Bengali film career.

He will play Rohan in the TV show who will enter leading lady Paakhi's life at an important juncture. "I play Rohan, Paakhi's childhood friend. He loved Paakhi when she was in Chittor, however when she gets married.


He decides to move away and goes to Singapore. Rohan is into cultural events and represents India at these international events. When he gets to know about Paakhi's problem he invites her to Singapore for one of these events," Indraneil said in a statement here.

"It is a cameo and how my character impacts the life of Anshuman and Paakhi is something the audience will have to watch out for," he said. The entry of Indraneil in the show will bring in a new twist in the life of lead characters Anshuman and Paakhi, the roles played by Iqbal Khan and Shraddha Arya respectively.

The cast of 'Tumhari Paakhi' is gearing up for their outdoor schedule in Singapore. The show is currently aired on Life Ok Channel.
