Kamineys indeed!

They showed us their Kamineypann by walking in late, but we have the last laugh as swine-flu dampens the first show

So who's the bigger Kamina, we asked...

"I'm a bigger kaminee (bitch) off screen and I'm honest about it," says Priyanka Chopra. She added giggling, "But on-screen he takes the cake for being a bigger kamina."

They walked in late, and blamed the multiplex strikes in Pune and Mumbai for it.

"We had heard the news about multiplexes being closed in Mumbai and Pune and will have to wait and watch what happens. But we are releasing the film elsewhere. Pune and Mumbai will probably see a Sunday release," director Vishal Bharadwaj said.

Cliche upside down

Talking about his double role in the film, Shahid said, "I'm like neither of the characters in the film. Guddu is a little boring and Charlie is a little too exciting. One of them stammers and the other lisps, I do neither!"

"I have taken the cliche of twin brothers (good and bad) and turned and flipped it around completely, so you see different takes and angles to the whole thing," Vishal adds.

Questioned on the homoerotic white horse sequence he said, "I was asked to, but I told Vishal who would look at me if I run along with these white horses? So I was told to run bare-chested. We took many takes for that scene. I also needed time to work on my body, so I asked Vishal and he gave me time for a year and you can see the result."

'Bald loser'u00a0
The film doesn't have bad language, the trio claim. Other than the title which is considered a softer bad wordu00a0 Kaminey the only other bad word they use, they claim is "Chappad Ganju!," which translates intou00a0 'bald loser.'

Bangalore reacts

Aishwarya Kannan, onlineu00a0editor

"I wanted to watch the movie really badly, but once the messages began circulating, asking people to avoid the theatres, I thought that was a better option. I will watch the movie sometime next week, hopefully by then the theatres would have cleaned up"

"I will watch the movie irrespective of the swine flu scare or not, the only problem is I need to get tickets for at least one show on the day of release. I think the swine flu scare is stupid and watching a film in a cinema hall is no less dangerous than doing anything else within an enclosed space.
Badekkila Pradeep, TV Promo exec

"I will watch the movie come what may! There's no way I am going to sit at home thisu00a0 weekend.
Poornima Raju, account exec
