It was a power-packed show at the Khar Gymkhana across the one-and-half-day where nearly 900 runs were amassed. Khar Gym smashed 349 powered by Ravi Shinde's 118 and Arjun Shetty's 96.

Parkophene, in reply, slammed 492-9, thanks to centuries from Prithvi Shaw (110), Parag Khanapurkar (110) and Narvekar (103 off 30 balls) to win the match on first innings lead and stay on top of the table.
Khar Gym's Vivek Arote claimed seven for 132. Narvekar's blistering knock was laced with 6x4s and 12x6s. "I was on 96 when I got a message from the dressing room that only seven minutes are remaining to play. I hit a six to bring up my century in 29 balls," said the 26-year-old.
Reflecting on his innings, the southpaw said: "I never thought of scoring 100 so quickly. The ball was coming on to the bat nicely. I wanted to score at a fast rate as that would have helped us achieve a better quotient."
Last week Narvekar, who bowls off-spin, claimed a fifer including a hat-trick in a 'B' Division Times Shield match for Serco BPO. During his inter-school days, Narvekar once claimed all 10 wickets in an innings for St Francis D'Assisi (Borivli) in 2004.
Narvekar, however, hasn't represented Mumbai in any of the age group tournaments. "I have always been in the probables, but never got picked. That's why I'm not expecting any returns after this innings too," said Narvekar.
