Becomes the brand ambassador of Sohail Khan's cricket team

Kangna Ranaut's recent inclusion as brand ambassador along with Salman Khan for his brother Sohail Khan's celebrity cricket team, Mumbai Heroes, is a clear indication how firmly entrenched Kangs is in the Khan-daan.
Sallu's Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha is the other brand ambassador of the team.

The actress has been roped in ahead of the celebrity cricket league matches slated to be played in Sharjah in January. Her inclusion was accompanied with Kangs' statement, "I don't know much about cricket. I was a science student, so I never got much time to play. I'm here to support my friends."

What she was referring to was Salman the friend she can rely on presently. As a source puts it, "After her recent fall out with Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan, Kangna finds herself disassociated with all those who are close to them. So her friendship with Salman matters even more."

The Sallu-Kangna bonding is, however, not new. She managed to make inroads into his inner circle a while back. He had even planned to cast her in his home production to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.

The only time there was buzz about tension between them was when she did not make it to his Being Human event last year where most of the leading Bollywood actresses walked the ramp for Sallu's charity.

But the star did not hold it against her. He made it a point to attend her birthday party in March this year and Kangs was also spotted visiting him late night on the sets when he was shooting for a film at Filmistan Studios.
