Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev is mighty impressed with Australia's James Pattinson, who hung on for 112 minutes to score a vital 30 in Australia's first innings score of 262 here on Saturday.
India ended the day with 266 for eight on a dramatic Day Two of the fourth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Pattinson claimed the wicket of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who pulled one straight to mid-wicket where his opposite number, Shane Watson was stationed. The dismissal came after some gamesmanship that both camps got involved in.
“I was amazed to see Pattinson come out of his crease and tackle the spinners well. His back foot play was impressive too. This young chap knows how to bat.
“And he’s a good bowler as well. I can see him developing as a quality all-rounder. He has a good physique, smooth run-up and fine action,” said Kapil Dev, who is witnessing this series as a television commentator.u00a0
