Karan Tacker, who was last seen in 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai' in the lead role, has walked away from daily soaps. The actor has been keeping busy hosting events, shows and music shows. He was recently honoured with an Award for the Best Host by the World Film Festival. The actor was invited to San Francisco to celebrate the same in July. Karan was be the guest of honour for the most popular and awaited event in California.

Karan shared the stage with renowned celebrities from Hollywood, Bollywood, Latino World, Europe, China, and Vietnam top moviemakers etc. WFF Awards is a premier show that selects winners from over 100 shows and 1000 movies. Karan shared the stage with the Chief of United Nations, Charles Radcliffe and some Hollywood personalities.
Karan says, "It is such an honour to be recognised and rewarded for your hard work internationally and share a platform with such respectful people. I feel wonderful receiving this award and it will only push me to put in more efforts and do my best. It will be my pleasure to be a part of this film festival and explore world cinema."
