Actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan says Kareena Kapoor has shown keen interest in doing a song in his upcoming film 'Dabangg 2'
Arbaaz is making his debut as a director with the sequel to 'Dabangg' (2010) in which his wife Malaika Arora Khan gyrated to the superhit item number Munni Badnam Hui.

"We do have a song in 'Dabangg 2' but it is too premature to talk about it. We would like to call it a popular song rather than an item song. Once we have recorded the song then we can take a decision accordingly," Arbaaz explained.
"I am in conversation with Kareena about the song. She too is keen on doing it. We would be happy if she would do the song," he said.
"Principally we have agreed but nothing is on paper. We need to work out certain things like availability," he added. 'Dabangg 2' sees the return of Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.
The shooting for the film is underway and it is expected to release by the end of the year. "We have completed one schedule and will begin another tomorrow. We expect to release it by the end of the year," Arbaaz said.u00a0
