A disturbing visual on CCTV camera has emerged where a woman, on Sunday was attacked at a temple in Karnataka with a machete by a man who struck her about a dozen times before he was restrained

A disturbing visual on CCTV camera has emerged where a woman, on Sunday was attacked at a temple in Karnataka with a machete by a man who struck her about a dozen times before he was restrained.


The survivor Kumari is a administrator of the Kotilingeshwari temple survived the attack with a head wound and deep cuts on an arm, as reported by NDTV. The temple is in Kolar, around 70 km from state capital Bengaluru.


According to the police, the attacker is 24-year-old Santhosh, an engineer who lives in the same village as Kumari. In the video, he is seen attacking Kumari from the back while she is standing in a corridor. He has been arrested

The police suspect he planned the attack on Kumari because of an old dispute between their families.
