While shooting for the family entertainer, he received a special gift from his NRI fans — a cake carrying his pictures as well as that of co-star Paresh Rawal. Kartik says, "Sometimes, it's just the way someone meets you that does the trick. I was surprised that so many people dropped in on the sets in London to meet and interact with me. It felt nice to connect with them."
