The perfect girlfriend that she is, Katrina Kaif apparently teamed up with director Ayan Mukerji to throw a surprise bash for Ranbir Kapoor on his birthday

On Sunday, Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor turned 32. The actor celebrated the occasion with close friends and what’s more, sources say that it was girlfriend Katrina Kaif who had organised the birthday party along with their filmmaker friend Ayan Mukerji. Turns out that they invited only a few close friends for the surprise dinner.

Says a source, "Katrina was planning this party with Ayan Mukherji since a long time. It's Ranbir's birthday and she wanted to make it special for him. Accordingly, she planned a quiet, cosy dinner with their close friends. She was already in touch with of Ranbir's close friends, including Rohit Dhawan and a couple of Ranbir's school friends. Ranbir was thrilled to catch up with them over this surprise dinner."

A source close to the actress says, "Katrina was busy promoting Bang Bang but she made time to plan a perfect birthday party for her boyfriend Ranbir. Since Ayan is a common close friend, she roped him in and reached out to their close friends who then came calling later on Sunday evening. In fact, the party was held at Ayan’s house." 

Katrina Kaif remained unavailable for comment.
